Hands-On Training Held at ICT Center |
 A hands-on training was conducted on July 4, 2009 at the ICT Center on the utilization of the Grading System 2010 which was participated by a number of faculty members in the College Department.
The training aimed to introduce to participants the features of the new version of the Grading System and encouraged them to utilize and appreciate information systems for faster and more reliable processing.
Among the features of the new system include:
- Automatic transmutation of scores
- Data and record storage and maintenance
- Report generations
- Importation of data from Excel format >

New Computers for CEA Students |
Engineering computer classes got a big boost with the recent installation of brand-new, top-of-the-line computer units with LCD monitors at their Computer Lab (B-08) located at the Information and Computer Technology Center. Their Computer Lab is now equipped with no less than 40 units of these state-of-the-art work stations that will definitely enhance their computer education and hasten their move up towards excellence in computer know-how and skills at global standards. |

Two MIS Staffs Attended Networking Training |

Mr. Clint Evans Orpilla (Web Developer) and Mr. Arneil Hufana (Network Administrator) attended a two-day seminar on Networking at Saint Louis University, Baguio City on May 26-27, 2009. The said seminar is sponsored by MEC Network Corporations and in coordination with SLU-PHNET headed by Engr. Winston Chugsayan.
Some of the topics presented by the lecturer include switch management, VLAN, IP routing, Wireless security and QoS (Quality of Service). The lecture is followed by product presentation and demonstration on network applications.

March 6, 2009 marked the CSSC Election history at Saint Louis College. The first ever automated CSSC Election is a joined project of the College Students Supreme Council (CSSC) and the Student Affairs Office (SAO) and was programmed and implemented by the Management Information Systems (MIS) Office.
The polling area consists of forty (40) computer units connected to the server for the automated polling and canvassing. With a very simple, user-friendly interface of the automated polling system, the students cast their votes in less than a minute by performing a simple mouse click operations.
With the implementation of the automated CSSC polling system, canvassing of votes took place right after the election.
