images/stories/mis.jpgThe Management Information Systems Office is responsible for making Information Systems and Technology by providing quality, timely and relevant information as a tool for effective decision making; services for the improvement of the efficiency and quality of the College operations.

The services of the Office include: Development of Information Systems, Enrolment, Web Development, Development of Multimedia materials, ID Printing, Computer-Related Consultancy and Technical Assistance.

The Management Information Systems Office is responsible in providing high quality Information Systems and Technology services to the different offices, staffs and students of the College.

MIS Office Services:

- Information Systems Service

Development, implementation and maintenance of computer-based information systems needed by the different offices in the college.

- College Enrolment

Oversees the enrolment in the College in coordination with the different concerned offices. This function involves, user training, consolidation of course offerings, training and supervision of student enrolment assistants, installation of workstations and solving enrolment related problems.

- Web Development

Development and maintenance of the SLC Official Website in coordination with the School paper advisers and concerned Heads of offices.

- Development of Multimedia Materials

Providing assistance in the development of visual materials of the College such as multimedia and video presentations, and other printed materials.

- ID Printing

Layouting and printing of Identification cards for employees, students and gate passes and others.

- Computer-Related Consultancy

Evaluation, selection, recommendation and acquisition of applications and systems packages and recommendations on computer hardware configuration.

- Technical Assistance

Assistance in the initial troubleshooting of computer related problems particularly those that are software related and those related to applications developed by the office.
